EGYPT / Applications open for the Mediterranean Journalist Awards

The Anna Lindh Foundation for dialogue between cultures is inviting submissions for the 10^th Mediterranean Journalist Awards.

Each year the Mediterranean Journalist Awards reward the work of journalists who “tackle inter-cultural problems between and within Euro-Mediterranean societies”. This competition is open to all journalists from the written press, television, radio and on-line media, from one of the 42 member states of the Union for the Mediterranean.

In this 10th edition, special attention will be paid to works dealing with cities and inter-cultural migration. In addition, a Special Alumni Award will be bestowed on a Journalist Award alumni for his or her outstanding contribution to the promotion of inter-cultural dialogue.

There will be an awards ceremony in Brussels at the end of 2017, after deliberation by the jury, composed of media professionals and outstanding intellectuals.
