PriMed has just closed its doors. More than 3,000 young people from both shores of the Mediterranean were able to debate and vote for their favorite film. This year, they shared some very powerful moments with the guest directors. In particular, the 1983 films LES MARCHEURS DE L’ÉGALITÉ by Nina ROBERT and TACK by Vania TURNER gave them the opportunity to discuss important issues such as racism in France and sexual violence against women.
The audience, for its part, responded, like every year, by coming in large numbers to meet the directors after the screenings.
563 films were received for this 28th edition of PriMed, 23 of which were selected. An all-female jury, chaired by Jocelyne ZABLIT, awarded prizes to the best films in the selection.
We thank the directors for allowing us to experience strong moments thanks to their works, for answering questions from high school students and from the audience. Thanks also to all the people who accompanied us to make this new edition a success!
