Croatia’s public television, HRT, has signed a multi-year agreement with the Eutelsat satellite to broadcast its HRT-HTV channel, an education, entertainment and news channel, outside the country via satellite, in this case Hotbird.
The channel’s content is in Croatian, but there are also programmes in English, Spanish and German. The agreement will enable the channel to be broadcast across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
HRT CEO Kazimir Bacic and Eutelsat CEO Michel Azibert welcomed the collaboration.
