For students and young filmmakers
The CMCA – Centre Méditerranéen de la Communication Audiovisuelle – is organising the 3rd CourtMed short films competition.
Open to students at universities, film schools and journalism schools, as well as to young filmmakers who have recently graduated, this competition aims to promote the work and vision of young mediterranean filmmakers by offering them the opportunity to share their creations more widely.
The short films submitted must deal with subjects relating to the issues, culture, heritage, history, societies and lives of women and men in Mediterranean countries. Any audiovisual work, regardless of genre or technique, lasting no more than 15 minutes and completed after January 1, 2025 is eligible.
Several prizes are up for grabs in this competition. A public screening of the winning films will also be organized in Marseille, as part of a short film program.
The call for films is open until 31 March 2026.
