Close-Up, a non-profit organization based in Brussels, is offering their first international training programme for documentary co-production.
The programme is for documentary film-makers either based in the Middle East and North Africa (Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar and Yemen) or working in northern countries (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Greenland and the Faroes).
To be eligible, a documentary film project must be in development, pre-production or production, and it must have strong international potential. Also, applicants must have made at least one short film, and not more than three one-hour films. The training will be in English with three workshop sessions spread over nine months.
