Released in cinemas across the Middle East and North Africa between May and June, the Saudi-produced thriller
7 Dogs has so far generated $7 million in box office revenue.

During its initial run in Saudi Arabia the film sold more than 200,000 tickets, 720,000 in Egypt and nearly 91,000 across Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman.

Directed by Belgian-Moroccan film-makers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, 7 Dogs is about an Interpol officer and a high-ranking member of an international crime syndicate known as “7 Dogs”. The two are forced to work together to halt the spread of a dangerous new drug in the Middle East.

Produced by Sela Studios and backed by “Riyadh Season”, the film features an international cast, with Egyptian actors Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz in the lead roles alongside Monica Bellucci from Italy and Indian actor Salman Khan.
