Having closed its doors in 2018, the Oran Arab Film Festival returns from October 4th to 10th for a 12th edition and with a new name: the Oran International Arab Film Festival.
The person in charge of this revival is actor / director Abdelkader Djeriou: “the Oran International Arab Film Festival established itself as a major showcase for Arab cinema, combining an international dimension through screenings, discussions, debates and workshops, in the enchanting coastal city of Oran.” For its reopening Djeriou plans “a captivating programme, highlighting the latest productions of Arab cinema, in the presence of film-makers and industry professionals.”
A call for films as well as a competition to design the official poster will soon be announced.
