FRANCE / 2 films from PriMed screened for Women’s Rights Day

The CMCA is the partner in two events connected with the International Day of Women’s Rights, organised at the CRIJ Provence-Alpes (96, La Canebière – Marseille 1), Tuesday March 8th from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm.

During this event two PriMed films will be shown:
– Screening discussion using extracts from Hadja Lahbib’s PATIENCE, PATIENCE, T’IRAS AU PARADIS ! (First Film Award and ASBU Special Mention at the 2015 PriMed)
– Complete screening of Feriel Ben Mahmoud’s LA RÉVOLUTION DES FEMMES – UN SIÈCLE DE FÉMINISME ARABE (selected in the Mediterranean Memory category at the 2015 PriMed)
To complete the programme :
– An EXHIBITION OF PORTRAITS of women whose lives and careers have been fulfilling and influential: photos, but also written portraits.
– A wall of expression will allow everyone to leave their mark, pass on a message.
– Documentation about women’s rights will also be available.
