The Marrakech International Film Festival announced the projects selected for the Atlas Workshops which will be held during the Festival from December 1st to 5th.
Launched in 2018, these Workshops support a new generation of emerging Moroccan, Arab and African film-makers by creating an environment for exchanges between professionals.
This year, the Atlas Workshops will present 17 projects in development and 10 films either in production or post-production from 13 countries, selected from 320 applications submitted from the African continent and the Arab world.
Parmi les projets en développement sélectionnés, on trouve : ALICANTE de Lina SOUALEM (Algérie), THE LAST BEAST OF ATLAS de Walid Messnaoui (Maroc), THE ORANGE GROVE de Murad ABU EISHEH (Jordanie) ou encore PURE MADNESS de Inès ARSI (Tunisie), réalisatrice du court-métrage LA PEAU RÊCHE présenté lors de la 27e édition du PriMed.
