MALTA / The Film Commission increases its budget

Johann Grech, head of the Malta Film Fund, has announced a 17% increase of the Fund’s budget compared with 2017. It now totals €350,000.
The increase will be used to nurture the production of Maltese films and scripts. In addition to feature films, it will also be producing short films, documentaries and television series destined for the international market.
The Fund allocates different types of finance: for writing, production, shorts or feature films and distribution.
