During June the Maltese telecommunications company Go announced it had invested more than €6 million to revolutionize Maltese television. The company has introduced a wireless television service which requires no professional installation, set-top box, or cable. To receive the service, customers need only pay a subscription fee. In each household any number of devices can be linked to one subscription.
The CEO of Go said “We are revolutionizing the way the Maltese can enjoy their favourite TV content, whether local or foreign. This is the result of a huge investment in our customer experience and a big leap forward on our television journey.”
