Synopsis.

Lebanon, July 2006. War is raging between the Hezbollah and Israel. During a 24-hour ceasefire, Marwan sets off in search of his father, who is refusing to leave his village in the south, making his wife Rana prepare for their immigration to Canada alone. Marwan finds no trace of his father and the cease-fire is quickly broken. A heavy bombardment forces him to take shelter in the house of his father’s friend Najib. As the bombing continues, tension inside the house rises between Najib and a group of elders, while outside it is worse. Marwan cannot leave. Suddenly, a group of Israeli soldiers bursts on to the upper floor. The next three days will see the situation become uncontrollable.

Ahmad Ghossein is an acclaimed director and video artist, whose visionary political thriller, co-produced by Lebanon, France and Qatar, is his first feature film.
