From July 6th to 12th this year the fifteenth Sole Luna Doc Film Festival will take place in Palermo, Italy.
Created in 2006, the event is to encourage independent films and bring together the people working in them. Behind the festival’s organization is the association Sole Luna – A bridge between cultures whose name testifies to their aim of promoting films with a different point of view.
The festival has launched a call for films. Any documentary produced after January 1st 2018 will be accepted, particularly films about social issues, human rights, environmental issues, and cultural identities.
The deadline for registering is March 15th 2020.
