GERMANY / Call for films for the Arab Film Festival Berlin

Every spring, ALFILM, Arabissches Filmfestival Berlin (Arab Film Festival Berlin), offers a wide selection of contemporary films from Arab countries. Now in its 8^th year, the next festival will be from March 31^st to April 7^th in the heart of the German capital.

The call for films for the 2017 festival is now open: any drama or documentary film, long or short, any experimental works or video art may be submitted. However all submissions must have been produced within the last three years and must fulfil one of the following conditions:

It must be the work of an Arab film-maker
Or it must have been produced or co-produced in an Arab country
Or it must address an issue related to the Arab world

The deadline for submissions is December 20^th 2016.
