Every year Series Mania, the international forum for the makers of television series, organizes a call for projects: the CoPro Pitching Sessions, an event for professionals with a series project in development.
On February 19th festival director Laurence Herszberg announced the fifteen projects selected for this year’s session. Nine of them are produced, or co-produced, by companies from Mediterranean countries :
– A Marriage, Indigo Film, Italy
– Casa Girls, The Film TV, France
– Doppelgänger, AVI FILMS,Spain/Argentine
– My First Family, Haut et Court TV, France/Israel
– Play of Mirrors, Velázquez in Rome, Vertice 360, Spain
– Submarine, The Mediapro Studio & Globo, Spain/Bresil
– Tahrir, Artza Productions, Israel
– The Abduction of Yossele Shumacher, Eran Riklis Productions, Israel
– The Black Lady, AT-Production, France/Germany/Belgium
The Co-Pro Pitching Sessions will take place on March 25th during the Series Mania Festival. Producers will first present their project to a jury of professionals and this will be followed by individual meetings between the project leaders and potential financial partners.
The selected project will be allocated the sum of €50,000.
