The call for projects for the fifth Franco-Israeli co-writing residency for series is open until September 12th.
Organised by the French Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image animée and the Israeli Gesher Multicultural Film Fund, this residency gives French and Israeli scriptwriters a chance to work together. To qualify, each project must have at least one Israeli screenwriter and one French.
Five projects will be selected. Participants will take part in 3 workshops: the first in Israel in December 2023, the second online between January and February and the last will take place in Lille during the Series Mania Forum (March 19th – 24th2024). During these 4 months the selected teams will write the complete bible of a fiction series guided by experienced tutors. At Lille they will also meet potential financial partners during a pitching session.
