For the first quarter of 2015, France Télévisions‘ net advertising sales revenue rose 4.5% compared to 2014, reaching €65.2 million. The increase is partly due to improved audience ratings for France 5 and particularly France 2, but also to the company’s move to digital. In two years advertising sales for digital content have doubled. For the first quarter they amounted to €2.7 million, accounting for 7% of total global advertising turnover.
