FRANCE / First port of call for Festina Lente 2016

FestivalSete
From May 2016 to August 2017, 25 circus artists, dancers, musicians, actors, set designers, artists, technicians, cooks and sailors will be living on and travelling in four sailing boats, a year’s nomadic festival, Festina Lente.
From the Western Mediterranean to Brittany, via the Cape Verde and Canary Islands, Morocco, Senegal and the Azores, they will cross more than 10,000 km of ocean to present their work, their educational workshops and the values they hold dear.
For 12 months and in 30 ports of call, using only the wind, they will exchange their artistic offerings, moments of wonder, laughter and poetry in return for discovering other people and places.
