On November 17th the Franco-German channel ARTE launched on its website a selection of programmes subtitled in Spanish and English. In all, a dozen hours of programmes will be available each week for Spanish and English-speaking Internet users. The channel’s most representative programmes have been chosen: “Tracks”, “ARTE Reportage” and “Metropolis”.
Co-financed by the European Commission, this new offering is available free throughout Europe and for some programmes around the world. Programmes sub-titled in Spanish are available at www.arte.tv/es and those in English at www.arte.tv/en. The offer is also available through the video portal ARTE, Arte + 7, and will be on connected televisions in December.
