FRANCE / 28th FIPA: Signing the Charter for Professional Practice for broadcast films

fipa-2015The 28th Festival international de programmes audiovisuels (FIPA) was held from January 20th to 25th in Biarritz. This unmissable event for discovering series, dramas, documentaries and current affairs films made for the small screen was marked this year by the signing of a Charter of Professional Practice. Signed on Friday, January 23rd in the presence of Fleur Pellerin, Minister of Culture and Communication, the Charter covers documentaries, news features and reports. According to a press release by Scam “This charter comes to regulate relations between film-makers represented by Scam, SRF and Addoc and producers represented by Satev, Spi and Uspa. Initiated by a preliminary agreement in July 2012, the Charter is now a benchmark for the broadcasting profession and a tool for transparency.
