EUROPE / Co-productions supported by Eurimages

29 European co-production projects for feature films will receive support from the Council of Europe’s Eurimages Fund.

From June 20^th to 24^th the Fund’s Executive Committee met in Amsterdam and awarded grants to 27 feature films and 2 documentaries for a total of €7.239 million. Mediterranean co-productions have done well, with fifteen projects supported:

– “Moon hotel Kabul”  Anca Damian: Romania (Aparte Films) / France (Cinema Defacto)
– “Rimetti a noi i nostri debitti”  Antonio Morabito: Italy (La Luna) / Switzerland / Albania (Ska-ndal Productions) / Poland
– “Sembra mio figlio”  Costanza Quatriglio: Italy (Ascent Films) / Belgium
– “Soldiers. Story from Ferentari”  Ivana Mladenovic: Romania (Hi Films Productions) / Serbia (Film House Bas Celik)
– “Smuggling Hendrix”  Marios Piperides: Cyprus (AMP Film Works) / Germany
– “Singled [Out]”  Mariona Guiu and Ariadna Relea: Turkey (Lacivert Film Produksyon, Yalan Dunya Film Yapim) / Spain (Suricata Stories)
– “Our Madness”  João Viana: Portugal (Papaveronoir, Promarte) / France (Les Films de l’Après-midi)
– “Pity”  Babis Makridis: Greece (Neda Film) / Poland
– “Barefoot on Stalks”  Jan Sverak: Czech Republic / Slovakia / Denmark / Italy (Fandango)
– “Never Let It Go”  Paul Negoescu: Romania (N-Graphix, Papillon Film) /  Bulgaria (Screening Emotions)
– “L’intrusa”   Leonardo Di Costanzo: Italy (Tempesta) / Switzerland / France (Capricci Production)
– “Pororoca”  Constantin Popescu: France (Irreverence Films) / Romania (Scharf Advertising)
– “Sicilian Ghost Story”  Fabio Grassadonia and Antonio Piazza: Italy (Indigo Fils, Cristaldi Pictures) / France (MACT Productions, JPG Films) / Switzerland
– “Vent du Nord”  Walid Mattar: France (Barney Production) / Belgium / Tunisia (Nomadis Images)
