HRT, the Croatian public broadcaster, has lost the rights to broadcast the national football team’s matches. Nova TV, the most-watched channel in the country, has acquired them for the next four years.
Created in 2000, Nova TV was Croatia’s first commercial television. Its CEO, Dražen Mavrić has said he wants to develop the group further to become the most powerful multimedia platform in the country.
