The Croatian Audiovisual Centre has chosen Ivan Goran-Vitez’ Extracurricular to be the country’s Oscar nominee in the category of Best International Feature Film. It was chosen from 6 films.
Goran-Vitez’ film is about a recently divorced father who, incensed at not being able to be with his daughter on her ninth birthday, bursts into her classroom with a birthday present, cake and gun. The film received support from the Croatian Audiovisual Centre.
