During his various public appearances, Hicham Hajji has always presented his work as a Moroccan film with Hollywood quality. To achieve this, he shot his film in New York, Los Angeles, Merzouga, Marrakech, Rabat and Casablanca. The cast was also very important, with national and international stars: Andy Garcia (The Godfather 3), Gary Dourdan (The Experts), Samy Naceri (Taxi), Brice El Glaoui Bexter (Greetings from ISIS), and Sonia Okacha (Catharsys and The Afina Tales of the Lost World).

The central character of Redemption Day is Kate Paxton, “a famous American archaeologist who travels to Morocco having discovered the oldest human bones, dating back 300,000 years. During her research, she is kidnapped on the Moroccan-Algerian border by a terrorist group led by Jaafar El Hadi. Her husband Brad Paxton, an American Marine, helped by a Moroccan anti-terrorism agent and the United States Ambassador to Morocco, will do anything to save her.”

Although this first film does not yet have cinema release, Hicham Hajji has already finished his second script, a comedy looking at the world of electronic music.
