For its 31st edition, the URTI International Radio Award launches a call for programmes on the theme “Public media and social networks”.
The competition is open to any broadcasting organization, association or institution, free of charge. Radio producers or directors wishing to compete for the URTI Grand Prix must submit their programmes for pre-selection by the member organizations.
The award, worth $500, is for programmes of 52 minutes maximum. The programmes must also be in their original version.
Created in 1989 by URTI (Union Radiophonique et Télévisuelle Internationale), the aim of this annual competition is to promote international radio production, publicise the best programmes and make sure they get wider distribution, while at the same time promoting the humanist values of tolerance and respect between peoples.
The call for programmes is open until September 1st 2019.
