The second Mediterranean Festival of First Documentaries will be held in Tunis between December 25 th and 28 th . Organized by the Association du Cinéma Documentaire Tunisien, the festival aims to show-case talented young film-makers from the Mediterranean region by screening twenty-four documentaries from thirteen countries, all available free during the three-day festival. With independent films and original creations, the festival brings the documentary genre and its specific qualities to a wider public.
The programme includes meetings and seminars, with audiences discussing the topical issues raised by the films: the economic crisis, migration and environmental problems. There will also be an introductory workshop on documentary production, to help younger audiences be more aware of the genre.
