SPAIN / The Málaga Festival’s Spanish Screenings

Postponed in March because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 14th Spanish Screenings, part of the Málaga Film Festival, will be held online from November 17th to 20th. The event aims to increase international sales of Spanish films. During the four days international buyers will be able to see the latest Spanish feature films online on the VEO platform SPANISH SCREENINGS, which will be free for international buyers.

Spanish Screenings has several categories:
2020 Premieres: Spanish films produced since the second quarter of 2020
Neo Screenings: for the most innovative films
Next From Spain: trailers for upcoming films
Spanish Film Library Room: films and television series produced since the last quarter of 2019
Spanish WIP: helping Spanish films in post-production to complete and begin their marketing campaign
The award-winners in the Málaga Film Festival: films, documentaries and short films which have received awards in the 23rd edition of the festival.

In addition there will be an online Industry Club, giving background on all the participating films for sales agents, distributors and other marketing professionals.

Spanish Screenings is organized by the City of Málaga and the Málaga Film Festival. The ICAA, ICEX, and EGEDA are collaborating in the event, as is the regional government of Andalusia.
