In Rome, Radio Rai announced the launch of two new radio programmes in June: Radio Rai1 Sport and Radio Rai2 Indie.
Roberto Sergio, the station’s director, said “With these two new channels our radio offering is increasing, bringing the total number to 12, soon 13 (…) That’s a lot, unthinkable just a few years ago, which positions RAI radio among the main players of those producing audio content, for entertainment, information or culture (…) it’s very demanding, and I’m proud of it because it looks at the future of Radio RAI.”
In addition, with regard to broadcasting methods, Rai’s investments in DAB + and digital were anticipated at a value of around €5 million. The RAI Radio platform is available on all types of digital media.
