Greece / Candidate call for the 2021 MFI Script 2 Film workshops

The Mediterranean Film Institute (MFI) is renewing its script training and project development workshops this year. Four sessions are scheduled between June and December, online but also in person on the Greek Dodecanese islands of Nisyros and Rhodes.

As in previous years the MFI Script 2 Film workshops are divided into two separate programmes. The first, Script Development, helps develop scenario projects. The second, Project Development, provides participants with the necessary tools to pitch their project and develop a production strategy. Each programme consists of working groups, master classes, conversations and case studies.

Several MFI projects will be selected and presented at the European Crossroads Co-Production Forum in November. Another MFI project will be presented at the Sofia Meetings Co-Production Forum in March.

Screenwriters, producers and directors of drama feature films, documentaries or television series are invited to apply before April 5th 2021. Future script professionals without a project are invited to apply until May 15th 2021.

Applications should be sent on this link.

Founded in 1998, MFI is a training organization bringing emerging scriptwriters and directors from Europe and the Mediterranean region together with teachers and established film industry professionals.

MFI Script 2 Film is supported by Creative Europe – MEDIA, in partnership with the Hellenic Broadcasting Company  ERT SA.
