GREC and the Musée national de l’histoire de l’immigration (National Museum of Immigration History) are launching a candidate call for a residency to make a short film on migration. The call for Residence Frontières is open to anyone making a first or second short film. Candidates who have already made a long film are not eligible.

The residency will take place from February 1st to July 30th 2021. The resident will have six months to finalize a script and then make her or his short film. They will also be expected to think up and create activities for people visiting the museum, as well as producing an online residency book. The total amount allocated is €20,000, which includes €5,000 for the 6 months in residence at the Museum. The remaining €15,000 will be used for making the short film.

The person selected will be looked after by the media library of the Musée national de l’histoire de l’immigration.
